    Had an encounter with a barn owl this morning, hunting along the same country lane that Bramble and I were walking along. Managed to get a shot of it flying, but unfortunately it didn’t come out very sharp!

    First post on this site! Welcome to this blog. I’m not sure what I’m going to write about, but first a little bit about me. I am a retired pharmacist, living in County Durham, England, with my dog, Bramble.

    My main interests are photography, nature, country walking and reading, so it’s likely that I’ll write about those, and anything else that comes to mind!
